FAA Denies ARSA’s Drug/Alcohol Rule Compliance Date Extension Request

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in a letter sent Sept. 28, 2006 (.pdf) has denied ARSA’s request for an extension of the new drug & alcohol rule’s Oct. 10 compliance date. The FAA’s decision has no impact on ARSA’s federal court case seeking a review of the new rule.
