ARSA Wraps up Another Successful Symposium

ARSA’s 2012 Legislative Day and Symposium, held March 14-16, was one the association’s most successful to date. More than 150 aviation maintenance professionals from around the globe gathered just outside of Washington in Arlington, Va. for two days of networking and professional education.

FAA Associate Administer for Aviation Safety Peggy Gilligan kicked off the Symposium with a keynote address focused on the FAA’s take on the new FAA reauthorization law. Attendees were then treated to sessions on legislative and regulatory developments that impact the aviation maintenance industry and a briefing on Association activities.

Be sure to check out the March edition of the hotline for complete coverage of the 2012 Legislative Day and Symposium.

Thank you to all Symposium attendees, sponsors, and speakers who ensured a successful event.

Please mark your calendar for next year’s Symposium, which will take place on March 20-22, 2013 at the Ritz-Carlton in Arlington.
