ARSA Closed for Columbus Day*
October 13, 2025
ARSA’s office is closed on Monday, Oct. 13 in observance of Columbus Day* in the United States. During this time, executive team members are available via mobile device and voicemails will be forwarded but regular operations will not take place.
*As an association dedicated to regulatory compliance, ARSA always upholds the plain language of the rules. The office is closed because Monday, Oct. 13, 2025 is denoted by the Office of Personnel Management (with reference to the applicable titles of the United States Code and Code of Federal Regulations) as Columbus Day. Though other institutions such as state and local governments and private businesses may use other names, it is ARSA’s policy to always refer to holidays by the names designated in the law. The association recognizes the good will of persons interested in celebrating other groups, cultures, or perspectives on this day.
