Last Chance to Swap Your Paper for Plastic

Is your FAA airman, mechanic, repairman, or pilot certificate still printed on paper? If so, you only have until March 31, 2013 to obtain a plastic replacement, apply at: http://www.faa.gov/licenses_certificates/airmen_certification/certificate_replacement/.
After that date, holders of a paper certificate (except temporary certificates) cannot exercise their FAA privileges. See 14 CFR §§ 63.15(d) and 65.15(d) for specific details. The following link allows users of the FAA’s airman services website to request temporary authority to exercise privileges of a valid certificate: https://amsrvs.registry.faa.gov/amsrvs/tempnotice.asp.
Make sure you have a plastic certificate, or make a request for a temporary certificate and order a plastic certificate, before March 31!
