Bill Introduced to Reverse Posting Rule
September 06, 2011
On Sept. 2, Rep. Ben Quayle (R-AZ) introduced the Employee Workplace Freedom Act (H.R. 2833).
The legislation reverses a National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) rule requiring most private-sector employers to post a notice of employee rights under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA). The legislation has been referred to the House Education & the Workforce Committee for consideration.
For more information on complying with the Board’s new rule, please see NLRB’s Frequently Asked Questions available at http://www.nlrb.gov/faq/nlrb.
