ARSA Thanks Babbitt for Years of Service to the Aviation Industry

ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA, December 12, 2011 – Aeronautical Repair Station Association (ARSA) Executive Director Sarah MacLeod issued the following statement in response to the recent resignation of Randy Babbitt from his position as administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
“We at ARSA were disappointed to hear that Randy Babbitt is leaving the FAA. During his tenure, he worked tirelessly to improve aviation safety and the quality of FAA’s oversight. We thank him for his many years of outstanding service to the aviation industry. ARSA looks forward to pursuing the same goals with Acting Administrator Michael Huerta.”

Founded in 1984, the association has a distinguished record of advocating for repair stations, providing regulatory compliance assistance to the industry, and representing repair stations on Capitol Hill and in the media.
